Reflections on the Past

It seems as though no time has passed since Dick Kopplin moved back to Scottsdale, AZ in 2000 and called to see if I would like to help him make a go of his search company he started in 1996, KOPPLIN SEARCH, Inc. All he offered was an hourly wage and vision of the future. “If we don’t work, we don’t eat, so let’s start working!” he said.

So we set about working and defining ourselves in the marketplace and low and behold by 2007 we had a pretty good little search enterprise going. Good enough that Dick could attract an outstanding member of the club industry, Kurt D. Kuebler, CCM, to become his partner.

Kurt and Dick shared the same vision as not just a search firm but a search firm built out of the fruits of their labor and knowledge base from working in the industry their whole careers. They truly wanted to offer the industry a “bigger picture” through manager and Board education and finding the right industry professionals for the Club’s leading executive positions.

Their clear vision and stalwart mission have never been deterred and continues to thrive today with the addition of outstanding club leaders to the firm that all share the same values and commitment to improving the club industry experience.

We welcome Thomas B. Wallace, III, CCM as a new “thought” Partner ensuring Dick and Kurt’s vision continues and adding to the continued vitality of KOPPLIN KUEBLER & WALLACE.

I’m not sure that I have ever, in my hospitality career, worked with a more dedicated and hard working group as the team assembled at KOPPLIN KUEBLER & WALLACE. I am privileged to be a part of it all and yes, we do try to have fun every day!

Our Mission:
We are committed to the success of our client clubs, the professionals that we place, and the industry as a whole. We improve the well-being of our client clubs, advance the careers of our candidates, and have fun every day.
