Deborah Houwing
Senior Researcher – International
Deborah joins our International team as a search assignment researcher. Before joining KK&W, Deborah worked as a journalist for 30 years in London, Hong Kong, and Cape Town, South Africa. She has reported from earthquake zones, edited consumer and custom magazines, and held posts as varied as newspaper TV columnist and food editor.
Her advanced research, analysis, and interviewing skills provide the perfect foundation for her role in supporting our executive search team. Deborah understands people, power, and narrative. She brings a distinctive blend of investigative vigour, strategic insight, and relationship-driven engagement to leadership advisory work.
With a sharp eye for potential and a nuanced understanding of reputation, influence, and performance, Deborah is committed to identifying leaders who not only meet the brief but strengthen organisations for the long term.
Deborah holds a degree in Economics from Brunel University of London.
