Kevin Vitale, CCM brings more than two decades of distinguished leadership in private club management to the KK&W team. Prior to his appointment with KK&W, he served as the General Manager and Chief Operating Officer of Baltusrol Golf Club in Springfield, New Jersey, one of the most historic and highly regarded clubs in the world, designated a National Historic Landmark, and ranked as the No. 2 Platinum Club in America.
During his 20 years at Baltusrol, Vitale led all aspects of operations for the dual championship golf facility, which has hosted 19 major championships, including seven U.S. Opens and four PGA Championships. Under his leadership, the club completed more than $130 million in capital improvements, including the full restoration of both golf courses by architect Gil Hanse and the development of new performance and fitness centers, practice facilities and member dining venues. Throughout his leadership tenure, the club achieved significant financial growth, tripling annual operating revenues without member assessments.
Kevin is recognized for his principled leadership, strategic mindset, and deep commitment to member satisfaction and staff development. He has experience implementing best practices in governance, launching successful internship and employee scholarship programs, and fostering collaboration.
A graduate of Stonehill College with a Bachelor of Arts in Business, Kevin is a Certified Club Manager (CCM) through the Club Management Association of America. He has served on the National Club Association Board (including as Chair), the Platinum Clubs of America Advisory Board, and the National Executive of the Year Committee. He has also partnered with the USGA and PGA of America in the planning and execution of multiple major championships.
